Workshop Contents
Course Outline
During the two weeks workshop (10 working days), the participants will be able to grasp the dilemma of TIP and anti-TIP measures in the region and learn the crucial concepts and skills needed for case management. The workshop includes lectures, case studies, activities, discussions, brain storming, group work and field trip. The workshop’s outline is as follows.
I. Introduction: Trafficked persons’ rights/human rights
II. Victim rescue and victim identification
III. Case management
· Methodology of case management: Theoretical and practical aspect
· In shelter protection
· Trafficked persons empowerment: Concept and practice
· Reintegration: Functions of country of origin and country of destination
· Repatriation: Before and after
IV. Follow-up and evaluation
V. Discussion/knowledge transfer training

Field Trip
In order to give participants the chance to experience the real practice of case management, this workshop includes a two-day visit to a nearby border province of Thailand where actual repatriation and reintegration activities takes place. The participants will have the chance to observe services provided by highly experienced anti-TIP organizations.
Tentative Schedule
Evaluation
At the end of the workshop, participants will be required to evaluate the overall training in terms of the session usefulness, materials, and the information and knowledge gained. Recommendations and suggestions on the curriculum will be needed.
All participants with at least 90% of training attendance will be given a certificate of attendance issued and signed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency and The Regional Center for Social Science and Sustainable Development.
