Allowances and Expenses
The following allowances and expenses will be provided to the approved candidates by the Royal Thai Government and the Government of Japan: (i) a round-trip ticket to and from the International Airport at Chiang Mai, as designated by TICA. *The approved candidate is requested to send a copy of his/her passport to TICA for the electronic air ticket arrangement.
A living allowance of 500 Baht per day (equivalent to approximately US$16) during the period of the participants’ stay in Thailand. This living allowance will cover food, local transportation and other personal daily expenses; however, each participant are expected to prepare some pocket money to cover expenses during the first few days prior to payment of the allowance by JICA and TICA.

Other Information
1. Participants are required to arrive in Thailand on the date assigned by TICA after its confirmation of acceptance; however, the date of travel will be finally confirmed
when air tickets are sent to the participants.
2. Participants should assume responsibility for other expenses incurred during the period of travel between their home countries and Thailand.
3. Participants shall make their own arrangements for any private financial matters; these are not supported by TICA and JICA.
4. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, participants are asked to look for a sign saying ‘Capacity Building Workshop on the Return, Repatriation and
Reintegration of Trafficked Persons’ at the exit gate where our workshop will wait for you for transferring to the hotel. Participants do not have to pay the
transportation charge, since the costs will borne directly by the course. Participants are advised not to take a public taxi to the hotel by themselves, as taxi fees
cannot be refunded.
5. Participants will be required to strictly observe the course schedule.
6. Any application to change or alter the course content or extend the training period will not be accepted.
7. Participants are requested not to bring any of their family members with them.
8. In accordance with relevant Thai regulations, medical insurance will be provided for each participant during their stay in Thailand.
