Important Information
Advance Assignment:
Each country is to prepare 2 presentations to be presented at the workshop.
(1) Country report on TIP which includes TIP situation in your country (its variety/form including its mechanism), Law/Policy/MOU regarding TIP, national plan and strategy, role of participant’s institute in preventing/solving TIP. 20 minutes will be allocated for this part’s presentation.
(2) Country report on case management detailing case management process in your country, implications of case management and training needs. 15 minutes will be allocated for this part’s presentation.
After each presentation, 10 minutes will be allocated for discussion and question and answer. The participants are required to bring the original copy of country report and power point presentation to the workshop for duplication and distribution. In addition, the participants are required to submit power point files and other files necessary for the workshop in advance.
As there will be 4-5 representatives from each country, we would like to ask you to consult with participants from your country regarding a delegation from your group who will present a country report on TIP and on case management. It would be appreciated if you could
1. Give us names of the representatives who will present the country reports 1) on TIP situation 2) on case management tentatively by December 5, 2010.
2. Prepare reports in form of Microsoft word and power point files. The files should be sent to us by December 10, 2010 to Khun Kanchana Kulpisithicharoen at [email protected] so that we can reproduce and distribute to all participants during the session.
For those who will present the country report on TIP situation, we would like to invite you for a brief meeting on 12 December, 2010 at 17.00 at the hotel lobby.

Allowances and Expenses
1. The following allowance and expenses will be borne by the Royal Thai Government and the Government of Japan: Round trip ticket to and from the International Airport at Chiang Mai designated by TICA will be issued to the approved candidate. *The approved candidate is requested to send the copy of his/her passport for arranging the electronic air ticket.
2. Living allowance at the rate of Baht 500 per day (equivalent to approximately US$16) will be paid to each participant during stay in Thailand. This living allowance is for food, local transportation, and other personal daily expenses. However, each participant is suggested to prepare some pocket money for expenses in the early days prior to the allowance payment.
3. Our staff will meet all participants at the hotel lobby from 16.00-17.00 to deal with the reimbursement on perdium during the seminar.

Other Information
1. Participants are required to arrive in Thailand on the date assigned by TICA after its confirmation of acceptance; however, the date of travel will be finally confirmed
when air tickets are sent to the participants.
2. Participants should assume responsibility for other expenses incurred during the period of travel between their home countries and Thailand.
3. Participants shall make their own arrangements for any private financial matters; these are not supported by TICA and JICA.
4. Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, participants are asked to look for a sign saying ‘Capacity Building Workshop on the Return, Repatriation and
Reintegration of Trafficked Persons’ at the exit gate where our workshop will wait for you for transferring to the hotel. Participants do not have to pay the
transportation charge, since the costs will borne directly by the course. Participants are advised not to take a public taxi to the hotel by themselves, as taxi fees
cannot be refunded.
5. Participants will be required to strictly observe the course schedule.
6. Any application to change or alter the course content or extend the training period will not be accepted.
7. Participants are requested not to bring any of their family members with them.
8. In accordance with relevant Thai regulations, medical insurance will be provided for each participant during their stay in Thailand.
